Sandbox and Live Credentials
To test your payment buttons without processing live purchases, you can create test credentials in PayPal or Stripe and enter them in SPC. Here’s how to do it:
PayPal:
Log in to your PayPal account.
Go to: PayPal Developer.
Switch to the sandbox environment.
Get the sandbox credentials.
Click on Test Accounts to create sandbox test accounts for your testing.
Now in SPC, enter the credentials in SPC Payment Settings > Sandbox (PayPal).
Go to SPC >> Buttons page. Find the button you want to test in sandbox and toggle the sandbox switch. After testing, make sure to switch back to live.
Stripe:
Log in to your Stripe account.
Click on Developers at the top.
Switch to Test Mode.
Generate your standard keys (publishable and secret).
Now in SPC, enter the keys in SPC Payment Settings > Sandbox (Stripe).
Go to SPC >> Buttons page. Find the button you want to test in sandbox and toggle the sandbox switch. After testing, make sure to switch back to live.
This will allow you to run test transactions without processing real payments.
