Add-To-Cart Buttons

SPC supports both Buy Now and Add-to-Cart buttons, giving users the flexibility to purchase multiple products at once through your store page.

If you want to allow users to add multiple products to their cart and purchase them in a single transaction, follow these steps to create Add-to-Cart buttons and set up the cart process in SPC.

Overview of the Process

  1. Cart Page: This is the page where users are directed when they click the Add-to-Cart button to add products. From here, they can return to the store to continue shopping or proceed to checkout.
  2. Checkout Process: On the Cart Summary page, users will have the option to review their selected items and then click Proceed to Checkout to finalize their purchase and complete payment.

Step-by-Step Instructions for Setting Up Add-to-Cart Buttons in SPC

Step 1: Create a Checkout Page

  • In SPC, go to Manage Checkouts.
  • If you don’t already have a checkout page, create one. This is where customers will complete their purchase.

Step 2: Create a Cart Summary Page

  • Navigate to SPC > Add-to-Cart Page.
  • Create a Cart Summary Page if you don’t already have one. This page displays the items users have added to their cart.

Step 3: Create Add-to-Cart Buttons

  • In SPC, you can create Add-to-Cart buttons for multiple products at once:
    • Select the products you want to offer.
    • SPC will automatically generate Add-to-Cart buttons for all selected products.
  • Connect the buttons to the checkout page you created.
  • Set up the Thank You Page URL where users will be redirected after completing their purchase.

Step 4: Set Up Your Store Page in WordPress

  • In WordPress, create a Store Page.
  • For each product, add a Product Box that includes details of the product.
  • Add an Add-to-Cart Button to each product and link it to the Add-to-Cart Payment Link generated from SPC.

Step 5: Test Your Setup

  • Switch your Add-to-Cart Buttons to Sandbox Mode (test mode).
  • Perform a Test Purchase:
    • Add multiple items to the cart.
    • Complete the purchase and verify that the user has access to all purchased products in the DAP Payments > Orders Page.
  • If everything works correctly, switch the buttons back to Live Mode.

Final Notes

Once set up, users will have a seamless shopping experience, allowing them to purchase multiple products in one go. This process will improve the user journey, especially for those looking to buy more than one product from your store.
